Rainfall

Moderate rainfall between 100 - 300 mm was observed in much of western Eritrea, in western and southern Ethiopia, in northern, central and southeastern Uganda, in western, central and coastal parts of Kenya, and in coastal and parts of southeastern Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was in southern parts of Sudan, in western and central Eritrea, in much of northern, central and eastern Ethiopia, in much of Somalia, in northern, central, western and southwestern Uganda, in several parts of northern and eastern Kenya, in much of Rwanda and Burundi, and in northern, and parts of eastern and southern Tanzania.
No rain and dry conditions were in several parts of Sudan, in parts of western and southern Eritrea, in several parts of Djibouti, in northeastern Somalia, in parts of northern and eastern Kenya, in western and central parts of Tanzania.

Drier than usual conditions were observed in central and southern parts of Sudan, in several parts of South Sudan and Djibouti, in northern and southern parts of Somalia, in northwestern, western and central parts of Ethiopia, in northern and southern parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Uganda, in much of Rwanda and Burundi, and in northwestern and western Tanzania.
Wetter to much wetter than usual conditions were observed in southern and southeastern Ethiopia extending into central Somalia, in much of northern, central and south-central Kenya, and in southern parts of Tanzania.
No rainfall conditions were observed in northern and central parts of Sudan.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in central in the rest of the region.

Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in Sudan, southwestern Eritrea, in parts of southern Djibouti, in northern and southern Somalia, in several parts of South Sudan, in western and central Ethiopia, in much of Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi, and in northwestern and western Tanzania.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in southern and southeastern Ethiopia, in central parts of Somalia, in northern, central and south-central parts of Kenya, and in southeastern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
