Rainfall
Heavy rainfall of between 200 - 500 mm was observed in parts of southwestern Ethiopia, in areas around Lake Victoria, in western, central, eastern and coastal parts of Kenya, in southern parts of Somalia, in southern Burundi, in northwestern parts and northern coast of Tanzania.
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 200 mm was observed in southern parts of Ethiopia, in southwestern South Sudan, in much of western and parts of central Uganda, in southern parts of central Somalia, in much of Rwanda, in northern Burundi, and in parts of northwestern, northern and northern coast of Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was in the western and central parts of Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in central and northwestern parts of Somalia, in several parts of South Sudan, in much of western, eastern central and southern Ethiopia, in northeastern Uganda, in northwestern Kenya, and in central, western, and southern parts of Tanzania.
No rain and dry conditions were in several parts of Sudan, in southern and western parts of Eritrea, in northeastern and central parts of Ethiopia, in northeastern Somalia, and in part of northwestern Kenya.
Wetter to much wetter than usual conditions were observed in eastern and southern parts of Sudan, in western parts of Eritrea, in western, northwestern, southern and eastern parts of Ethiopia, in several parts of Somalia and South Sudan, in northwestern, central and southeastern parts of Uganda, in western, central and much of eastern Kenya, in southern parts of Burundi, and in northwestern and northeastern Tanzania.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in parts of southern Eritrea, in northeastern Ethiopia, in a few areas in northeastern Uganda and northwestern Kenya, and in a few places in central and southern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in parts of Djibouti, in central and northeastern part of Ethiopia, in southeastern South Sudan, in parts of northeastern and southwestern Uganda, in parts of western and northwestern Kenya, in much of Rwanda, in northern Burundi, and in parts of western, central and southwestern Tanzania.
Moderately wet to extremely wet conditions were observed in much of South Sudan and Somalia, in western Eritrea, in western, northwestern, southern and eastern Ethiopia, in western, central and southeastern Uganda, in southwestern, central and much of eastern Kenya, in southern parts of Burundi, and in northwestern and northeastern Tanzania.
Moderately dry conditions were observed in parts of southern Eritrea, in a few places in northeastern Ethiopia and in northeastern part of Uganda.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
