Rainfall
Moderate to heavy rainfall of between 200 - 500 mm was observed in parts of southwestern and southern Ethiopia, in northwestern Uganda, in part of southern Somalia, and in central Kenya.
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 200 mm was observed in the western, southeastern and southern parts of South Sudan, in western, southern and eastern parts of Ethiopia, in southern and central parts of Somalia, in northeastern, central and western parts of Kenya, and in much of Uganda.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was in the much of the southern parts of Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea, in coastal Djibouti, in northern parts of Somalia, in northern, and central parts of Ethiopia, in n northern and central parts of South Sudan, in much of northern, eastern, coastal and southern parts of Kenya, in several parts of Rwanda and Burundi, and in much of northern, northwestern and eastern Tanzania.
Dry conditions were in several parts of Sudan, in southern parts of Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in northeastern Ethiopia, in northeastern Somalia, in northwestern parts of Kenya, and in much of central, western and southern Tanzania.
Wetter to much wetter than usual conditions were observed in southeastern Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in northwestern, western, eastern and southern parts of Ethiopia, in several parts of Somalia, in northeastern Kenya, in part of northwestern Uganda, and in eastern Tanzania.
Drier than usual conditions observed in central and southern parts of Sudan, northeastern and central parts of Ethiopia, in part of northeastern Somalia, in eastern Rwanda, southwestern Uganda, and in several parts of Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions observed over southern parts of Sudan, in several parts of South Sudan, in parts of central Ethiopia, in western, central and coastal parts of Kenya, in several parts of Uganda, in western Rwanda, several parts of Burundi, and in northwestern and western parts of Tanzania.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in western and central parts of Eritrea, in parts of southeastern Sudan, in northwestern, western, southern and eastern Ethiopia, in several parts of Somalia, in northwestern, central and eastern parts of South Sudan, in northwestern Uganda, in northern, northeastern and eastern parts of Kenya, and in eastern parts of Tanzania.
Moderately dry to extremely dry conditions were observed in parts of central, eastern and southern parts of Sudan, in part of northeastern Somalia, in southwestern Uganda, in several parts of Rwanda, in some parts of Burundi, and in northwestern, central, western and southwestern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
