Rainfall
Moderate to high rainfall amounts exceeding 500mm was observed in a few areas in northwestern parts of Tanzania.
Moderate rainfall amounts of between 201-500mm was observed in a wide band across several countries including southwestern Ethiopia, parts of South Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 11 - 200 mm was observed in all countries across the region including.
No rainfall or less than 10mm was observed in northern parts of Sudan.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in the Horn of Africa region including Kenya, Ethiopia and Somalia, and a few pockets in Uganda, S. Sudan and Sudan.
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in the central and eastern parts of Sudan, and a few pockets in Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in much of the rest of the region.
Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in the several parts of the region including Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Kenya, S. Sudan, Uganda and western Tanzania.
Moderate wet to severely wet rainfall conditions were observed in central Sudan and the border regions of Sudan and Ethiopia, a few pockets in Ethiopia, and a pocket area in Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in the rest of the region.
