Rainfall
Moderate rainfall (500 - 1000 mm) observed over western Ethiopia, western Kenya, and in the western region of Lake Victoria.
Light rainfall (200 - 500 mm) observed over several parts of South Sudan, north-western, western and central Ethiopia, much of Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, parts of western, central and coastal Kenya, south-eastern Somalia, and north-western, coastal, eastern and south-western Tanzania.
Rainfall between 10 - 200 mm observed in southern parts of Sudan, several parts of Eritrea, northern and south-eastern South Sudan, north-eastern, eastern and southern Ethiopia, parts of Djibouti, much of Somalia, parts of north-eastern and southern Kenya, and western, northeastern, central and southern Tanzania.
Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) observed in northern and central Sudan.
Wetter than normal conditions observed in south-eastern parts of Sudan and in southern parts of Tanzania.
Normal rainfall conditions observed in southern parts of Sudan, western Eritrea, several parts of South Sudan, much of western Ethiopia, western, southern and eastern Uganda, much of western and central Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, parts of northern, western, north-eastern and south-eastern Tanzania.
