Rainfall
Rainfall amounts exceeding 500mm were observed in western parts of Ethiopia, western parts of South Sudan, and in parts of western Kenya.
Moderate rainfall between 100 - 500 mm was observed in southern parts of Sudan, in western Eritrea, in several parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Ethiopia, in parts of central and southern Somalia, in several parts of Uganda, in much of western, central, northeastern and coastal parts of Kenya, in several parts of Rwanda and Burundi, and in northwestern Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 10 - 100 mm was observed in western, central to eastern Sudan, in coastal, central and southern Eritrea, in much of Djibouti, in northeastern eastern Ethiopia, in northern parts of Somalia, in parts of northwestern, eastern, and southern Kenya, and in much of northeastern, western, and eastern Tanzania.
Dry conditions were observed in northern parts of Sudan, in northwestern Kenya, and in central, western and southern parts of Tanzania.
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in southern parts of Ethiopia, in central and southern parts of Somalia, and in northeastern Kenya.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in much of the in much of central and southern Sudan, in much of Eritrea and Djibouti, in northern parts of Somalia, in much of western, central northern and northeastern Ethiopia, in several parts of South Sudan and Uganda, in parts of western, central and costal Kenya, in much of western Rwanda and much of Burundi, and in northwestern and eastern parts of Tanzania.
Drier than and much drier than usual conditions were observed in parts of northeastern Ethiopia, northeastern Somalia, in northwestern and south-central parts of Kenya, in southwestern Uganda, eastern Rwanda, and in northeastern, central, western and southern parts of Tanzania.
Moderately dry to extremely dry conditions were observed southern parts of Sudan, in northern and northeastern parts of Ethiopia, in northeastern part o Somalia, in parts of northern, eastern and southern South Sudan, in several parts of Uganda, in northwestern Kenya, in much of Rwanda, and in northeastern, central, western and southern part of Tanzania.
Moderate to severely wetter than usual rainfall conditions were observed northwestern Eritrea, in western, southern and eastern parts of Ethiopia, in much of central and southern Somalia, in northeastern and parts of eastern, and western Kenya, and in parts of eastern Tanzania
