Rainfall
- Heavy rainfall (between 500 - 1000 mm) observed over highlands of western Kenya, south-eastern Uganda and isolated areas in central Tanzania and central Burundi.
- Moderate rainfall (between 100 - 500 mm) observed in most parts of south, north-western and costal Tanzania, southern Burundi, most parts of Rwanda, most parts of Uganda, and southern and central Kenya.
- Light rainfall (between 50 - 100 mm) observed in most parts of northern South Sudan, north-western and south-eastern Ethiopia, and central Somalia.
- Rainfall range between 10-50 observed over southern parts of Sudan, north-eastern Ethiopia, and Turkana region of Kenya.
- Dry conditions (usual during this time of the year) in most parts of north Sudan.
- Much wetter than usual conditions not observed over Mara mountain region of Darfur region of Sudan, north-eastern Lake Victoria basin of Kenya, north-eastern and Lake Victoria basin of Uganda in the GHA region.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in in western Sudan; southern and eastern parts of South Sudan; south-eastern, eastern and north-eastern Uganda; and central and northern costal parts of Tanzania.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions observed over most parts of southern parts of Sudan, western Ethiopia, most parts of South Sudan, western and south-western Uganda, most parts of southern and northern Kenya, central Somalia, and western and southern Tanzania.
- Much drier than usual conditions observed over isolated areas in northern Somalia.
- Moderately wetter to severely wetter than usual conditions observed in western Sudan, southern and eastern parts of South Sudan; south-eastern, eastern and north-eastern Uganda; and central and northern costal parts of Tanzania.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed over in most parts of western Ethiopia, most parts of South Sudan, western and south-western Uganda, most parts of southern and northern Kenya, central Somalia, and western and southern Tanzania.
