Moderate to heavy rainfall between 51 -200 mm was observed in central and southwestern parts of Ethiopia, in southern parts of Somalia, in western, central and parts of eastern Kenya, in much of Rwanda and Burundi, in southern parts of Uganda, and in much of northwestern, western, southern and eastern parts of Tanzania.

Moderate rainfall between 26 - 50 mm was observed in central and northeastern parts of Ethiopia, in parts of southern Somalia, in southwestern Uganda, in parts of northeastern and western Kenya, and in parts of northern and western Tanzania.

Light rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in some western and southeastern South Sudan, in central and southern parts of Eritrea, in parts of western, northern and eastern parts of Ethiopia, in central and northwestern parts of Somalia, in northern and central parts of Uganda, in northwestern, coastal Kenya, and in northeastern Tanzania

Usual dry rainfall was observed in much of Sudan, western Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in northern and central parts of central South Sudan, in northwestern Ethiopia, and in parts of northeastern Somalia.

Wetter than usual conditions were observed in much of Djibouti, in central, northeastern and eastern Ethiopia, in northwestern and southern Somalia, in northwestern, and parts of eastern and western Kenya, in several parts of Rwanda and Burundi, and in several isolated parts of western and southern Tanzania.

Drier than usual conditions were observed in several parts of South Sudan, in much of Eritrea, in western and northwestern Ethiopia, in parts of central and northeastern Somalia, in much of northern and central Uganda, in northwestern, coastal and southern parts of Kenya, and in central and northeastern Tanzania

Usual rainfall conditions were in central and southern parts of Ethiopia, in parts of north, eastern and central Kenya, in southwestern and southeastern parts of Uganda, and in several parts of northwestern, western and southern Tanzania.

No rainfall conditions were observed in much of Sudan, and in norther parts of South Sudan

Moderately to severely wet conditions were observed in parts of Djibouti, in parts of central and northeastern Ethiopia, in northwestern and southern Somalia, in northwestern, western and eastern parts of Kenya, and in much of Rwanda and Burundi, and in Isolated parts of southern Tanzania

Moderately to severely dry conditions were observed in several parts of South Sudan, in parts of Eritrea, in northwestern parts of Ethiopia, in northeastern Somalia, in several parts of northwestern, central and western Uganda, in parts of central and coastal Kenya, and in northeastern Tanzania

No rainfall conditions were observed in Sudan, northern parts of South Sudan, in parts of coastal Djibouti, in western Eritrea, in norther parts of South Sudan, and in parts of northwestern Ethiopia
