Rainfall
Moderate to heavy rainfall 100 -200mm was observed in the a few isolated places in western Kenya and western Ethiopia.
Moderate rainfall of between 26 - 100 mm was observed in western and southern parts of Sudan, in southwestern Eritrea, in northern, western and central parts of Ethiopia, in northern, central and much of western South Sudan, in northwestern and southeastern parts of Uganda, and in parts of western Kenya.
Light rainfall of between 5 - 25 mm was observed in the central and eastern parts of Sudan, in the eastern and southern margins of western and central Ethiopia, in northeastern and southwestern Uganda, in parts of southeastern Somalia, and in parts coastal Kenya.
Usual dry rainfall was observed in northern parts of Sudan, in the coastal, central and southern parts of Eritrea, in several parts of Djibouti, in much of Somalia, in eastern and southern parts of Ethiopia, in southwestern parts of Uganda, in northern, eastern, central and southern parts of Kenya, and in much of Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania.
Wetter than usual conditions were observed in western and central parts of Sudan, and in parts of western Kenya.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in much of Eritrea and Djibouti, in southern parts of Sudan, in several parts of South Sudan, in northern, central and southwestern Ethiopia, in several parts of Uganda, in western and central Kenya, in southeastern Somalia and in parts of Rwanda.
Usual rainfall conditions were in observed in western parts of Sudan, in western Ethiopia, in south western South Sudan, in parts of western and southeastern Uganda, and in parts of western and costal Kenya,
No rainfall conditions were observed in the northern parts of Sudan, southern parts of Eritrea, in coastal Djibouti, in eastern and southern parts of Ethiopia, in northern, central and southwestern parts of Somali, in northern, eastern and southern parts of Kenya, and in much of Rwanda Burundi and Tanzania.
Moderately to severely wet conditions were observed in a few places in western, central and eastern parts of Sudan and in parts of western Kenya.
Moderately to severely dry conditions were observed in much of Eritrea, in southern parts of Sudan, in several parts of South Sudan, in several parts of northern, western, central, northeastern and southwestern Ethiopia, in several parts of Uganda, and in southern parts of Somalia.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in much of the rest of the region.
