Rainfall
Rainfall exceeding 100 mm was observed in parts of central and eastern Tanzania.
Moderate to high rainfall of between 26-100 mm was observed in much of the rest of Tanzania, in Burundi, and in parts of western and southern coast of Kenya.
Light rainfall of between 6- 25 mm occurred in southern parts of Uganda, in much of Rwanda, and in central and southeastern Kenya.
Rainfall less than 5mm was observed in the rest of the region.
Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in the southern parts of South Sudan, in southwestern Ethiopia, in several parts of Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda and Kenya, and in parts of northwestern Tanzania.
Moderately wet to extremely wet conditions were observed in central and eastern Tanzania.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in central to southern Eritrea, in centra to southwestern Ethiopia, in southern parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Burundi, and in northwestern part of Tanzania.
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in several parts central and eastern Tanzania.
No rainfall condition was observed in in much of Sudan, Somalia, western Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in several parts of South Sudan, in northern Uganda, and northern parts of Kenya.
Near Normal conditions were observed much of the rest of the Region.
