Rainfall

Moderate to heavy rainfall between 51 - 200 mm was observed in eastern and southern parts of Tanzania.
Moderate rainfall between 26 - 50 mm was observed in southern parts of Burundi, and in much of western, central and northeastern Tanzania.
Light rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in some isolated areas in central and southwestern Ethiopia, in southern parts of Uganda, in parts of western Kenya, in much of Rwanda, in northern parts of Burundi, and in northern parts of Tanzania.
Usual dry rainfall was observed in much of Sudan, South Sudan, Djibouti, Eritrea, Somalia, northern and central Uganda, and in several parts of Kenya.

Wetter than usual conditions were observed in eastern and southern parts of Tanzania.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in several parts of Ethiopia, in southwestern and southeastern parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi, in western, central and southern Kenya, and in western and northern parts of Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were in central and southern parts of Eritrea, in several parts of Djibouti, and in parts of northwestern, central and southwestern Tanzania.
No rainfall conditions were observed in much of Sudan, South Sudan, western Eritrea, Somalia, several parts of western, northwestern and eastern Ethiopia, in northern parts of Uganda, and in several parts of northern, eastern and coastal Kenya.

Moderately to severely wet conditions were observed in the eastern and southeastern parts of Tanzania
Moderately to severely dry conditions were observed in southwestern part of Ethiopia, in parts of southeastern South Sudan, in southern part of Uganda, in western and central parts of Kenya, in several parts of Rwanda, in northern parts of Burundi, and in western and parts of northern Tanzania.
No rainfall conditions were observed in Sudan, South Sudan, Somalia, western Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, western, northwestern and eastern Ethiopia, in northern Uganda, in much of northern, coastal and eastern Kenya.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in much of the coastal, central and southern Eritrea, in several parts of Djibouti, in northeastern, central and southwestern Ethiopia, in parts of southwestern and southeastern South Sudan, in several parts of Uganda, in southern Burundi, and in several parts of northwestern and central Tanzania.
