Rainfall
Heavy rainfall between 100-200mm was observed in northwestern and western parts of Ethiopia.
Moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm was observed in southwestern and southeastern parts of Sudan, southwestern Eritrea, in much of the northwestern and western Ethiopia, and in northwestern and eastern South Sudan.
Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm was observed in the southern parts of of Sudan, in the northeastern, central, southwestern and southeastern South Sudan, in western Eritrea, central Ethiopia, and in western part of Kenya.
Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in central parts of Sudan, in Eritrea, in northeastern Ethiopia, in southern parts of South Sudan, in northern and eastern Uganda, western and coastal Kenya and in southeastern Somalia.
Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) was observed much of northern parts of Sudan, in northwestern, central and southern Eritrea, in much of Djibouti, southern and eastern Ethiopia, northern, central and southwestern Somalia, in western, central and southern Uganda, in much of Rwanda, Burundi, in northern, eastern and southern Kenya, and in much of Tanzania.
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in southwestern Sudan, in southwestern Eritrea, northern Ethiopia, and in a few areas in eastern and western South Sudan
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan, western Eritrea, over much of Djibouti, in much of northern to central South Sudan, in northern, northeastern, western and southern Ethiopia, and in western and central parts of Kenya.
Drier and much drier than usual conditions were observed northwestern and southern parts of Eritrea, in in central, western and south-central Sudan, in southern part of South Sudan, in central part of Ethiopia, in much of north, central and eastern Uganda, in northwestern and coastal parts of Kenya, in several parts of centra and southern Somalia, in eastern Tanzania, and in western part of Rwanda.
No rainfall conditions were observed in northern Sudan, central, eastern and southeastern Ethiopia, northern and central Somalia, in northeastern, eastern and southern Kenya, southwestern Uganda, and in several parts of Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania.
Moderately to severely wet conditions were observed in southwestern and eastern Sudan, southwestern Eritrea, northern Ethiopia, and in western and eastern South Sudan.
Near usual rainfall conditions were observed in southern and southeastern Sudan, over several parts of north, central and southeastern South Sudan, in much of northeastern, southern and western Ethiopia, in southern parts of Somalia, in Djibouti, over western, central and coastal parts of Kenya
Moderately to severely dry conditions were observed in south-central Sudan, in central Ethiopia, in southwestern South Sudan, in much of Uganda, in northwestern Kenya, and in eastern Tanzania.
