Rainfall
Moderate to heavy rainfall of between 26 - 100 mm was observed in southwestern Sudan, in western, central and northern South Sudan, and in western and northwestern Ethiopia.
Light rainfall of between 5 - 25 mm was observed in southern parts of Sudan, in western Eritrea, in central and eastern Ethiopia in northwestern and southeastern Somalia, in eastern and southern South Sudan, in several parts of Uganda, in western, central and coastal Kenya, and in northeastern Tanzania.
Usual dry rainfall was observed in northern and central Sudan, in coastal, central and southern Eritrea, in much of Djibouti, in northeastern, southern and eastern Ethiopia, in northeastern, central and southwestern Somalia, in much of northern, eastern and southern Kenya, in southwestern Uganda, in several parts of Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania.
Wetter than usual conditions were observed in several parts of central and southern Sudan, western and central Eritrea, in northern parts of South Sudan, and in parts of northwestern Ethiopia.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in southern parts of South Sudan, in central and southern parts of Ethiopia, in several parts of Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi, in much of western, central and coastal Kenya, in southern parts of Somalia, and in parts of northern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were in parts of western and southwestern South Sudan, in central and western Ethiopia, in central and southeastern Uganda, part of western Kenya, and in northeastern Tanzania.
No rainfall conditions were observed in northern and central parts of Sudan, in central and southern Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in northeastern and eastern Ethiopia, in northern, central and southwestern Somalia, in much of northern and eastern Kenya, and in several parts of Tanzania.
Moderately to severely wet conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan, in northern South Sudan, in western Eritrea, in northern part of Ethiopia, in part of Djibouti.
Moderately to severely dry conditions were observed in western Ethiopia, southern parts of South Sudan, in western, northern and eastern parts of Uganda, in western, central and coastal parts of Kenya, and in parts of Rwanda and Burundi.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in much of the rest of the region.
