Rainfall
Heavy rainfall between 100-200mm was observed in some part central highlands of Ethiopia.
Moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm was observed in western, eastern and southwestern parts of South Sudan, in western and central parts of Ethiopia, in western, central and eastern Uganda, and in western highlands of Kenya.
Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm was observed in several parts of South Sudan, in a few areas in the southern parts of Sudan, in central parts of Ethiopia, in northern and southern parts of Uganda, and in western parts of Kenya.
Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in the southern parts of Sudan, in a few areas in northwestern and southeastern parts of South Sudan, in central parts of Eritrea, in parts of central, eastern and southern Ethiopia, in parts of northwestern and southern parts of Somalia, in parts of north-central, central and coastal Kenya, in much of Rwanda and Burundi, and in northwestern and northern coast of Tanzania.
Usual dry rainfall was observed in northern and central parts of Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea and Djibouti, in northeastern part of Ethiopia, in northeastern and central parts of Somalia, in northern eastern and southern parts of Kenya, and in several parts of Tanzania.
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in southeastern, central and southwestern parts of Sudan, in central parts of Eritrea, in southern Djibouti, in western and central parts of Ethiopia, in eastern parts of South Sudan, in eastern and central parts of Uganda, and in western highlands of Kenya.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan, northwestern and southwestern parts of Ethiopia, in several parts of South Sudan, in northern, and western parts of Uganda, in northcentral and western Kenya, and in northwestern Rwanda.
Drier than usual conditions were observed over eastern parts of Sudan, western Eritrea, in northern, and eastern Ethiopia, in much of Somalia, in northern eastern central and coastal Kenya, in southern parts of Uganda, in several parts of Rwanda, in much of Burundi, and in in Tanzania.
