Rainfall

Rainfall of exceeding 100 mm was observed a few isolated areas in northwestern Ethiopia.
Moderate rainfall of between 26-100 mm was observed in southern parts of Sudan, in northwestern, western and central parts of Ethiopia, in several parts of South Sudan, in several parts of northern, central, western and southern Uganda, and in parts of western Kenya.
Light rainfall of between 6- 25 mm occurred in central and southern parts of Sudan, in western Eritrea, in much of Djibouti, in eastern South Sudan, in northeastern Ethiopia and eastern and southern margins of central Ethiopia, in northeastern and southern Uganda, in parts of western and coastal Kenya, in parts of northern and southern Somalia, in western Rwanda, and in western Burundi.
Rainfall less than 5mm was observed in the rest of the region.

Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan, in southern Eritrea, in several parts of South Sudan, in isolated parts of western, southwestern, central, northeastern and eastern Ethiopia, in parts of northern and southern Somalia, in eastern, central and southern Uganda, in western Kenya, in much of Rwanda and Burundi, and in northwestern parts of Tanzania.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in a few areas in western Eritrea, western and eastern Sudan, in Djibouti, in isolated parts of northern Ethiopia, and in northwestern Uganda,
Usual rainfall conditions and no rainfall conditions were observed in much of the rest of the region.

Drier than usual conditions were observed in southern parts of Eritrea, in isolated areas in the southern parts of Sudan, in several parts of South Sudan, in parts of southwestern, and northeastern Ethiopia, in parts of northern and southern Somalia, in much of eastern, central and southern Uganda, in parts of western and coastal Kenya, and in much of Rwanda and Burundi, and in northwestern parts of Tanzania.
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in some isolate areas in western Eritrea, northeastern Ethiopia, in northwestern Uganda, in western and eastern parts of Sudan, and in much of Djibouti.
No rainfall condition was observed in northern Sudan, in coastal Eritrea, in northeastern, central and southwestern Somalia, in southeastern and southern parts of Ethiopia, in northern, eastern, central and south-central Kenya, and in several parts of Tanzania.
Near Normal were observed much of the rest of the Region.
