Rainfall
- Moderate to heavy rainfall between 100 - 200 mm observed in isolated areas and parts of northern and south-eastern Tanzania, and the highland of western Kenya.
- Moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm observed in highlands of western Kenya, eastern and northern Uganda, most parts of Burundi, and most parts of northern Tanzania.
- Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm observed in isolated parts of central Tanzania, most parts of Rwanda, upper and lower eastern Kenya, western Uganda, southern parts of Somalia, and southern Ethiopia.
- Rainfall range between 5 - 25 mm observed over central Tanzania, Turkana region of Kenya, southern parts of Kenya, and central and northern parts of Ethiopia.
- Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) conditions almost everywhere in Sudan, northern parts of South Sudan, Djibouti, central and northern Somalia, most parts of Eritrea and north-eastern Ethiopia.
- Much wetter than usual conditions observed in isolated parts of northern Tanzania, western and north-eastern Uganda, highland parts of western Kenya, and costal parts of southern Somalia.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in sporadic parts of northern Tanzania, most parts of western and north-eastern Uganda; highland parts of western and lake Victoria region, and eastern parts of central Kenya; and costal parts of southern Somalia.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed over central and northern Kenya, southern Ethiopia, south-eastern parts of South Sudan, central and north-western Uganda, and southern Somalia.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions observed in most parts of South Sudan, southern and central Kenya, south-western Uganda, and central and north Kenya.
- Much drier than usual conditions observed over western parts of South Sudan and north-eastern Ethiopia.
- Moderately wetter to severely wetter than usual conditions observed in the highland of western Kenya, eastern and north-eastern Kenya, isolated parts of northern Tanzania, and isolated areas in southern Somalia.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed over most parts of Burundi, Kenya, south and south-eastern parts of South Sudan, and western and southern Ethiopia.
