Rainfall
- Heavy to moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm was observed in costal parts of Tanzania.
- Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm was observed in south-western Uganda, western Tanzania, southern parts of Burundi, isolated parts of lower-eastern and southern Kenya.
- Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in central and southern Uganda, southern Somalia, western, southern and costal parts of Kenya, northern Burundi and most parts of Rwanda.
- Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) was observed everywhere in Sudan, most parts of South Sudan and Ethiopia, northern and central Somalia, northern and north-eastern Kenya, most parts of Ethiopia.
- Much wetter than usual conditions were observed in south-western South Sudan, isolated parts in western Ethiopia.
- Wetter than usual conditions were observed in coastal parts of Tanzania.
- Usual rainfall conditions were observed in south-western and lower eastern parts of Kenya, isolated parts in northern, south-eastern, and north-western Tanzania.
- Drier than usual conditions were observed over most parts of central Ethiopia, south-eastern parts of South Sudan, northern and southern Uganda, most parts of central and western Kenya, everywhere in Rwanda and Burundi, central and northern Tanzania.
- Much drier than usual conditions were observed over south-eastern parts of South Sudan, south-western Ethiopia, lower eastern and north-eastern parts of Kenya, isolated parts in central and south-western Tanzania.
- Moderately to severely wetter than usual conditions were observed in south-western South Sudan, isolated parts in western Ethiopia.
- Usual rainfall conditions were observed in south-western and lower eastern parts of Kenya, isolated parts in northern, south-eastern, and north-western Tanzania.
- Moderately to severely drier than usual conditions were observed in south-eastern parts of South Sudan, western Ethiopia, lower eastern and north-eastern parts of Kenya, isolated parts in central and south-western Tanzania.
