- Heavy rainfall (between 100-200 mm) observed over isolated areas in Kwale sub-county of Kenya, and central Burundi.
- Moderate rainfall (between 50-100 mm) observed in central and north-western Tanzania, central and northern Burundi, and southern and costal parts of Kenya.
- Light rainfall (between 25-50 mm) observed in most parts of northern and north-eastern Tanzania, most parts of Rwanda, and the Lake Victoria region of Uganda.
- Rainfall range between 5-25 mm observed over most parts of southern and north-eastern Tanzania, south-western and isolated areas in western Ethiopia, central and south-eastern Kenya, most part of northern and central Uganda, central equatorial states of South Sudan, south-western Somalia, and Red Sea costal parts of Eritrea.
- Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) conditions almost everywhere except Red Sea coast in Sudan, central and northern parts of South Sudan, north-western Eritrea, western Djibouti, most parts of central, northern and Eastern Ethiopia, and northern and central Somalia.
- Much wetter than usual conditions observed Tata Taveta and Kwale counties in Kenya, north-eastern Burundi, extreme north-western Tanzania, and isolated area in central equatoria state in South Sudan.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in most parts of southern and eastern Rwanda, and northern Uganda.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed in most parts of Tanzania, southern Burundi, most parts of southern and central Uganda, western and central Kenya, western Ethiopia Red Sea coasts of Sudan, and Eritrea.

- Much drier than usual conditions observed over eastern Kenya, south-eastern and central coasts of Somalia, southern and south-western Ethiopia, southern and south-eastern Tanzania, and isolated areas over southern and central Somalia.
- Moderately to severely wet conditions observed in Tata Taveta and Kwale counties in Kenya, north-eastern and extreme north-western Tanzania, northern and north-eastern Burundi, northern Uganda, isolated areas in central equatoria state in South Sudan, and western Ethiopia.
