- Moderate rainfall (between 50-100 mm) observed in western Kenya, eastern Uganda, eastern and western South Sudan.
- Light rainfall (between 25-50 mm) observed in most parts of South Sudan, central and northern Uganda, western Ethiopia, southern parts of Sudan.
- Rainfall range between 5-25 mm observed over the central part of Sudan, eastern Ethiopia, and north-western Somalia.
- Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) conditions in most parts of far northern Sudan; northern, central and southern parts of Kenya; northern Eritrea coasts, central Somalia, and most parts of central and southern Tanzania.
- Much wetter than usual conditions observed in western-Sudan, isolated areas in central Somalia and central Kenya.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in western Kenya, Khordofan region of Sudan, eastern parts of South Sudan, southern Ethiopia.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed in sporadic areas in southern parts of Sudan, north-eastern South Sudan, central Kenya.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions observed in most parts of central Ethiopia, sporadic areas in eastern Sudan ,northern Somalia, central parts of South Sudan, most parts of Uganda, northern Eritrea, most parts of Tanzania, southern parts of Burundi and western Rwanda.
- Severely wet conditions observed in western-Sudan, isolated areas in central Somalia and central Kenya.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in western Kenya, Khordofan region of Sudan, eastern parts of South Sudan, southern Ethiopia.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed in sporadic areas in southern parts of Sudan, north-eastern South Sudan, central Kenya.
