- Moderate rainfall (between 50 - 100 mm) observed in most parts of Tanzania and Burundi, and southern Rwanda.
- Light rainfall (between 25 - 50 mm) observed in most parts of southern and south-western Kenya, northern Rwanda, and northern Tanzania.
- Rainfall range between 5 - 25 mm observed over the southern Uganda, and central Ethiopia.
- Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) conditions almost everywhere in Sudan, northern and central parts of South Sudan, Djibouti, Somalia, most parts of north-western Eritrea, south-eastern Ethiopia, and most parts of north-eastern and north-western Kenya.
- Much wetter than usual conditions observed over central, north-western, and eastern parts of Tanzania.
- Wetter than usual conditions observed in central and northern Tanzania, central Kenya, most parts of south-western Burundi, and southern and eastern Rwanda.
- Usual rainfall conditions observed in most parts of southern, western and northern Tanzania, north-eastern Burundi, northern and north-western Rwanda, and south-western Kenya.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions observed in most parts of southern and central Uganda, and most parts of southern, most parts of south-western, central and northern Ethiopia.
