Rainfall
Moderate to heavy rainfall of between 51-100 mm was observed in northwestern Tanzania, and in a few areas in central and coastal Kenya,
Moderate rainfall of between 26 - 50 mm was observed in southwestern, central and parts of coastal Kenya, in part of southern Burundi, in southeastern Tanzania, and in parts of western Tanzania.
Light rainfall of between 6- 25 mm was observed in a few areas in southwestern Ethiopia, in several parts of central and southern Uganda, in parts of western, and central Kenya, in much of Rwanda, in northern and central parts of Burundi, and in several parts of northeastern, eastern, central and southern Tanzania.
Rainfall less than 5mm was observed in much of Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea, Djibouti, Ethiopia, South Sudan, and Somalia, in part of northern and central Uganda, and in much of northern, and eastern Kenya.
Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in the central and southern parts of Uganda, in southern parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Rwanda and Burundi, and in western, southwestern, central and eastern parts of Tanzania.
Moderately wet conditions were observed in a few areas in central and coastal Kenya, and in northwestern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in much of the rest of the region.
Drier than usual conditions were observed in central and southern parts of Ethiopia, in southern parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Burundi, in southeastern parts of Somalia, and in several parts of western, central eastern, northeastern and southern Tanzania.
Wetter than usual conditions were observed in a few areas in central and coastal Kenya, and in northwestern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions were observed in a few areas in western Uganda, southern and coastal parts of Kenya, and in northwest and southeast Tanzania.
No rainfall conditions were observed in much of Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea, Djibouti, northwest, northeast and eastern Ethiopia, in several parts of Somalia, in northwestern part of Kenya, and in several parts of South Sudan.
