Moderate to heavy rainfall (51 - 200 mm) observed in much of the central and southern parts of Ethiopia, central and southern parts of South Sudan, much of Uganda, southern parts of Somalia, several parts of Kenya, much of Rwanda and Burundi, and in several parts of north-western, northern, and eastern Tanzania.

Moderate rainfall (26 - 50 mm) observed in northern and central parts of South Sudan, central parts of Eritrea, parts of northern and eastern Ethiopia, and in north-western and eastern Kenya.

Light rainfall (5 - 25 mm) observed in parts of western and southern Eritrea, parts of Djibouti, north-western and central Somalia, southern parts of Sudan, north-eastern South Sudan, and in central, western, and southern parts of Tanzania.

Usual dry conditions observed in much of Sudan and in parts of north-eastern Somalia.

Wetter than usual conditions observed in several parts of the region.

Drier than usual conditions observed in a few areas of western Eritrea and north-eastern Somalia.

Usual rainfall conditions recorded in parts of western Eritrea, south-western part of Ethiopia, northern and central parts of Somalia, western part of South Sudan, parts of western and eastern Uganda, and parts of southern Tanzania.

No rainfall condition observed in much of Sudan.

Moderately to severely wet conditions observed in several parts of the region.

Moderately to severely dry conditions occurred in a few areas in parts of western Eritrea and northeastern Somalia.

No rainfall for much of Sudan.
