Rainfall

Moderate rainfall of between 26-100mm occurred in several parts of South Sudan, Uganda, in parts of western Ethiopia, in south-central parts of Sudan, in parts of western Kenya and northern coast of Kenya.
Light rainfall of between 6-25 mm occurred in the southern parts of Sudan, in eastern part of South Sudan, in a few areas of southwestern and northeastern Uganda, in southeastern part of Somalia, in coastal Kenya, and in northern Rwanda.
Much of the rest of the region recorded less than 5 mm of rainfall

Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in western, southwestern, central and southeastern Sudan, in western Eritrea, in northern, western and northeastern Ethiopia, and in eastern and western parts of South Sudan.
Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in a few isolated parts of south-central parts of Sudan extending to north-central South Sudan, in southwestern Ethiopia extending to southeastern South Sudan, in western Uganda, in central to northwestern Rwanda, and northern coast of Kenya

Drier than and much drier than usual conditions were observed in western, central to southeastern Sudan, in southwestern Eritrea, in northern and northeastern Ethiopia, in eastern and southwestern South Sudan, and in northeastern Uganda extending to northwestern Kenya,
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed a few areas in south-central Sudan, extending to north-central South Sudan, in southwestern Ethiopia extending to southeastern South Sudan, in much of western Uganda, southwestern to northwestern Rwanda, and in northern coast of Kenya.
Near normal rainfall condition was observed in southwestern to south-central Sudan, in several parts of northern, central and southern South Sudan, in southwestern Ethiopia, in northwestern, central and southeastern Uganda, and in southern coast and western parts of Kenya.
