Rainfall
- Heavy rainfall between 100 - 200 mm was observed in isolated parts in western and northern-western highlands of Ethiopia.
- Heavy to moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm was observed in most parts of western and northern-western highlands of Ethiopia, sporadic parts in central and northern South Sudan, and the highlands of western Kenya.
- Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm was observed in southern parts of Sudan, central Ethiopia, southern parts of South Sudan; most parts of south-western, central and northern Uganda; western Kenya, and northern parts of Rwanda.
- Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in much of central and western Sudan, northern Eritrea, everywhere in Djibouti, northern Somalia, most parts of Burundi, southern and eastern parts of Rwanda, Lake Victoria sides of Tanzania, and eastern Ethiopia.
- Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) was observed over south-eastern Ethiopia, most parts of central and northern Kenya, southern and central Somalia, costal parts of Eritrea, central and northern Somalia, and southern and central parts of Tanzania.
- Much wetter than usual conditions were observed in isolated parts in eastern Sudan, northern Ethiopia, and north-western Eritrea.
- Wetter than usual conditions were observed in different parts of central and eastern Sudan, most parts of north-western and eastern Ethiopia, northern parts of South Sudan, northern and southern parts of Djibouti, northern Somalia, and western Kenya.
- Usual rainfall conditions were observed over much of the central and southern parts of Sudan, central and north-western South Sudan, western Ethiopia, south-western and northern Uganda, and central and northern Rwanda.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions were observed over western South Sudan, sporadic parts in southern and south-eastern Ethiopia, central Uganda, costal and south-eastern Kenya, southern Burundi, and Tanzania.
- Moderately to severely wetter than usual conditions were observed in different parts of central and eastern Sudan, most parts of north-western and eastern Ethiopia, northern parts of South Sudan, northern and southern parts of Djibouti, northern Somalia, and western Kenya.
- Usual rainfall conditions were observed over much of the central and southern parts of Sudan, central and north-western South Sudan, western Ethiopia, south-western and northern Uganda, and central and northern Rwanda.
- Moderately to severely drier than usual conditions were observed over western South Sudan, sporadic parts in southern and south-eastern Ethiopia, central Uganda, costal and south-eastern Kenya, southern Burundi, and northern Tanzania.
