Rainfall
- Heavy to Moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm was observed in western South Sudan, in isolated areas of northwest, west and southeast Uganda, in western and central parts of Kenya, and in south western Burundi.
- Light rainfall between 25 - 50 mm was observed in south central part of Sudan, western Ethiopia, northeast and western parts of South Sudan, over much of western, central and southern Uganda, in much of western and central Kenya and Burundi.
- Rainfall between 5 - 25 mm was observed in southern parts of Sudan, over southern and eastern Ethiopia, central Somalia, much of Rwanda, and in northeastern and isolated parts of southern and eastern Tanzania.
- Usual dry (usually dry in this time of season) was observed over much of Sudan, Eritrea, western Djibouti, northern and central Ethiopia, northern and southern Somalia, southeast South Sudan, northeast Uganda, northern and eastern Kenya, and in several parts of northeast, central and southern Tanzania.
- Much wetter than usual conditions were observed in a few isolated places northwest Ethiopia, and parts of central and southwestern Tanzania.
- Wetter than usual conditions were observed in a few isolated parts in northern South Sudan.
- Usual rainfall conditions were observed over much of South Sudan, western and southern Uganda, in western highlands of Kenya, and in much of Burundi.
- Moderately drier than usual conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan over much of central, southern and eastern Ethiopia, in northern and central parts of Somalia, in central parts of Uganda, much of southeast South Sudan, Rwanda, and in eastern parts of Tanzania.
- Much drier than usual conditions were observed over southeast South Sudan, north eastern Uganda eastern Kenya, north and southern parts of Somalia and in northeast coastal areas of Tanzania.
- Moderately to severely wetter than usual conditions were observed very few isolated areas in northern South Sudan, and northern Ethiopia.
- Usual rainfall conditions were observed over much of Sudan, Eritrea, norther and western South Sudan, north and central Ethiopia, northwest and central Somalia, Burundi, western Kenya and much of western and central Tanzania
- Moderately to severely drier than usual conditions were observed over south eastern South Sudan, northeast, central and south west Uganda, several parts of Southern Ethiopia, northeast and southern Somalia, over several parts of Kenya, eastern Tanzania, and much of Rwanda
