Rainfall

Rainfall of exceeding 100 mm was observed in some areas in southwestern Ethiopia.
Moderate rainfall of between 26-100 mm was observed in western, central and eastern parts of South Sudan, in northwestern, western, southern and eastern parts of Ethiopia, in northwestern, western and southern Uganda, in parts of western Kenya, in several parts of western Rwanda, in parts of northern Burundi, and in parts of coastal Tanzania.
Light rainfall of between 6- 25 mm occurred in parts of Eritrea, in northern and southern parts of South Sudan, in central parts of Ethiopia, in northwestern Uganda, in central and parts of western Kenya, in eastern parts of Rwanda, in southern Burundi, and in much of northwestern, western and parts of eastern Tanzania.
Rainfall less than 5mm was observed in the rest of the region.

Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan extending to northern South Sudan, in southern parts of South Sudan extending to northern and central Uganda, in several parts of Somalia, in much of northern, central and eastern Kenya, in eastern Rwanda, in parts of Burundi, and in parts of northwestern and southern Tanzania
Moderately wet to extremely wet conditions were observed in several parts of Eritrea, in parts of coastal Djibouti, in parts of northern, western and eastern Ethiopia, in northwestern parts of Somalia, in western South Sudan, and in western and parts of eastern Tanzania.
Usual rainfall conditions and no rainfall conditions were observed in much of the rest of the region.

Drier than usual conditions were observed in southwestern parts of Sudan, in northwestern and southern parts of South Sudan, in parts of northeastern Ethiopia, in several parts of northeastern, central and southern Somalia, in northern and central Uganda, in several parts of Kenya, in eastern Rwanda, western Burundi, and in northern central and southern Tanzania.
Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in eastern and southeastern parts of Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea, in coastal Djibouti, in northern, western and eastern parts of Ethiopia, in western parts of South Sudan, in western and eastern parts of Tanzania.
No rainfall condition was observed in northern to central Sudan, in parts of southern Eritrea and western Djibouti, in parts of northeastern and central Somalia, in parts of northern Kenya, and in parts of central Tanzania.
Near Normal were observed much of the rest of the Region.
