Rainfall

Moderate to high rainfall of between 25-200mm was recorded in southern and eastern Ethiopia, in northwestern, central and southern Somlai, in western eastern and southern parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi, in western, central northeastern and coastal Kenya, and in northwestern, coastal, and parts of southern Tanzania.
Light rainfall of between 6- 25 mm occurred northern and southeastern parts of South Sudan, in several parts of Eritrea, in parts of Djibouti, in northern parts of Ethiopia, in northern parts of Somalia, in northern and eastern Kenya, and in central western and southern parts of Tanzania.

Moderately wet to severely wet conditions were observed in several parts of Eritrea, Djibouti, central and southern Somalia, northeastern and eastern Ethiopia, in central and southeastern Uganda, in northern, eastern and coastal Kenya, and in western, southern and coastal Tanzania.
Moderately dry to severely dry conditions were observed in the southern parts of Sudan, in western Ethiopia, and I several parts of South Sudan
Much of the rest of the region recorded near normal rainfall

Wetter than and much wetter than usual conditions were observed in much of Eritrea and Djibouti, in several parts of central and southern Somalia, in northeastern and eastern Ethiopia, in several parts of north, eastern and coastal Kenya, in central and southeastern Uganda, and in western southern, coastal and parts of northern Tanzania.
Drier than and much drier than usual conditions were observed in southern parts of Sudan, in western Ethiopia, in parts of northeastern Somalia, and in several parts of South Sudan.
No rain condition was observed in several parts of Sudan.
Near normal rainfall condition was observed in much of the rest of the region.
