Earth champions and winners training on how to use a Podcast kit
ICPAC ran a climate change campaign in the run up to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of the Parties (COP26). This includes recognition of young climate and environmental activist in ICPAC member states as Earth Champions and holding the first East Africa Climate Action Awards.
The regional Climate Action Awards aimed at giving visibility to local mitigation and adaptation solutions from Eastern Africa. In a context of a global Climate Emergency, there is a need to give visibility to viable and scalable solutions. The winners and Earth champions were awarded with various gifts including a podcast kit. This training aim to train those who got the kits on how to install and use it.
