HIGH-LEVEL MINISTERIAL MEETING TO ENDORSE IGAD REGIONAL CLIMATE STRATEGY (IRCCS)
IGAD Climate Prediction and Applications Centre (ICPAC) with support from the European Union (EU) has developed IGAD Regional Climate Change Strategy (IRCCS) that will provide a framework for integrated and coordinated mechanisms in addressing climate change issues that improves resilience to livelihoods and well-being of the people in IGAD region to climate change and extreme weather events.
IGAD Ministers/Cabinet Secretaries for Environment will preside over the endorsement of the Strategy after final review by technical experts and UNFCCC national focal points.
