Over the past year alone, we’ve seen failed rains, landslides, locust swarms destroying crops and floods across the region. Climate change is going to impact East Africa in many more ways. Friday’s session is an opportunity to hear what to look out for in East Africa.

With the global climate change talks being in held in the UK a just over a month, and Africa Climate Week next week – Alex Crook, East Africa Regional Climate Adviser for the UK government will speak about the talks and what is being done to help countries adapt and mitigate the impacts of climate change in East Africa.
