Training on the use of historical climate data forecasting tools for drought monitoring and agro-meteorological applications
IGAD Climate Prediction and Applications Centre (ICPAC) with support from the African Development Bank and Adaptation Fund and in collaboration with other partners is organizing a training course on the use of historical climate data forecasting tools for drought monitoring and agro-meteorological applications. The main objective of the training is to enhance the capacity of the Ministries of Agriculture and Livestock from the Rural Livelihood’s Adaptation to Climate Change in the Horn of Africa (RLACC II) and the Agricultural Climate Resilience Enhancement Initiative (ACREI) project sites to help climate proof their extension services.
