Training on use of Climate Data Tool (CDT) for Generation of Agro-meteorological Information in Malawi and Tanzania
ICPAC, through the support of WMO, plans to conduct a 3-day training on Climate Data Tool (CDT) for data managers, climate data analysts, and forecasters at Tanzania and Malawi Meteorological and Climate Services in order to strengthen their agrometeorological bulletins and products.
CDT will help Malawi and Tanzania to perform data quality control, merge station data with satellite records and carry out routine analysis and production of various meteorological indices in form of maps and graphs for improving their agrometeorological bulletins.
