Youth Climate Leadership and Advocacy Training: From Climate Science and Risk to Policy, Finance & Action in the IGAD Region
ICPAC, with support from the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), will convene a three-day training for selected youth participants from Kenya’s 47 counties.
The training will strengthen participants’ knowledge and practical skills in climate science, climate risks, adaptation and resilience, early warning and early action, climate policy and finance, UNFCCC negotiations, and evidence-based advocacy. Through expert presentations, practical exercises, case studies and group work, participants will learn how to translate climate information into effective policy engagement, advocacy and locally relevant climate action.
Participation is by invitation.
