- Warmer than usual conditions expected over the whole region with the highest probabilities indicated over southern and north-eastern Ethiopia, part of eastern South Sudan, central to northern Kenya, southern Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and north-western and southern Tanzania.
- Drier than normal conditions expected over south-western Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, and most parts of Tanzania.
- Near normal to wetter than usual conditions expected over parts of central and southern Tanzania.
