- Warmer than normal conditions expected over most parts of the region with the highest probabilities over parts of Sudan and isolated areas in Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia and Tanzania.
- Normal to cooler than normal conditions are expected over central to eastern and northern Ethiopia and central to western Kenya.
- Wetter than normal conditions expected over most parts of the region including Ethiopia, Djibouti, northern Eritrea, southern Sudan, Kenya, Somalia, eastern and southern South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, northern and eastern Tanzania.
- Drier than normal conditions expected over central to western South Sudan.
