Temperature
- High monthly average temperatures above 32˚C expected over the northern part of South Sudan, and southern and eastern parts of Sudan.
- Moderate monthly average temperatures between 22 and 32˚C expected over much of eastern Ethiopia, much of Kenya, Somalia, Uganda, the rest of Sudan and South Sudan, Djibouti and Eritrea.
- Moderate to low monthly average temperatures below 22˚C expected over central and western Kenya; parts of southwestern and northern Tanzania; Rwanda, Burundi, and central and parts of southern Ethiopia.
- High chances of above normal rainfall over central and northern Tanzania, much of Kenya, Uganda, southern parts of Somalia, southeastern and western Ethiopia, northern parts of South Sudan and northeastern Rwanda.
- High chances of below normal rainfall over Djibouti; southern, central and eastern Ethiopia; northern parts of Somalia, northwestern Uganda, southern parts of South Sudan, parts of western and coastal Kenya, Burundi, western parts of Rwanda, and western and southern Tanzania.
