- Drier than normal conditions expected over most of Ethiopia, southern Somalia, parts of Kenya, and Uganda.
- Near normal conditions forecast over most of Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, and Tanzania.
- Wetter than normal conditions expected over north-eastern South Sudan, and western parts of Ethiopia.
- Warmer than normal temperatures expected over most parts of Eastern Africa. Enhanced probabilities of above-normal temperatures indicated over central to north-eastern Ethiopia, south-eastern Eritrea, and central Kenya.
- Near normal temperatures expected over central parts of Tanzania, a few areas in Somalia, and South Sudan.
