- Warmer than usual conditions expected over most parts of the northern and equatorial areas of the region.
- Normal to cooler conditions expected over much of Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, south-western Kenya, south-eastern South Sudan, south-western and central Ethiopia, and parts of western Sudan.
- Wetter than usual conditions expected over areas of southern and north-eastern Tanzania.
- Average rainfall conditions expected over much of central Tanzania.
- Drier than usual conditions expected over central to western Tanzania, Burundi, and Rwanda.
