- Warmer than usual conditions expected over much of northern and eastern Sudan, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, Kenya, eastern Uganda, Burundi, and much of Tanzania.
- Average temperatures expected over parts of western and southern Sudan, parts of western Ethiopia, northern and eastern South Sudan, western to southern Uganda, Rwanda, and western Tanzania.
- Cooler than usual conditions expected over south-western Sudan, western to central South Sudan, and isolated areas in north-western Tanzania.
- Wetter than usual conditions expected over the southern to central parts of Tanzania.
- Drier than usual conditions expected over western parts of Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, and south-western parts of Kenya.
