- Warmer than usual conditions expected over most parts of the region with the highest probabilities over north-western Sudan and part of western Ethiopia.
- Cooler than normal conditions are expected over central parts of Somalia.
- Drier than usual conditions expected over most parts of the region including Ethiopia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Sudan, South Sudan, northern Uganda, western Kenya, north-western and few areas in southern coastal Somalia,
- Wetter than normal conditions xpected over isolated areas in southern Somalia and coastal Kenya.
