- Warmer than usual conditions expected over most parts of the region.
- Average temperatures likely over northern Ethiopia, central South Sudan, and south-western Uganda into Rwanda.
- Wetter than usual conditions expected over northern coastal Sudan and parts of Djibouti.
- Drier than usual conditions expected over southern Ethiopia, central to southern Somalia, Kenya, south-eastern South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania.
- Northern Somalia, much of Ethiopia, much of South Sudan, and Sudan are generally dry in November.
