Observed climate for August 2024
Temperature
Mean temperature cooler than the long-term mean was observed in western Eritrea, in Djibouti, in parts of southeastern Sudan, and in parts of northeastern and southwestern Ethiopia. Much of the rest of the rest of the region experienced mean temperature that is warmer than the long-term average.
