Temperature
- Warmer than usual conditions are expected over eastern and southern parts of Sudan, South Sudan, Uganda, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, much of Kenya, and central to eastern Tanzania.
- Usual temperatures are likely to be recorded over central to northern Sudan, the Karamoja cluster region, western Kenya, much of western Tanzania, Burundi, and Rwanda.
- Cooler than usual temperature conditions are likely to be recorded over small areas in north-western Sudan and within the Karamoja cluster region.
- Drier than usual conditions are expected over south-eastern Ethiopia, northern and southern Somalia, eastern and north-eastern Kenya, and northern to coastal Tanzania.
- Wetter than usual conditions are expected over parts of central and eastern Equatoria, and Upper Nile states of South Sudan, eastern and south-western areas of Uganda, part of western Kenya, and part of north-western Tanzania.
- Usual conditions are expected over southern Sudan, much of South Sudan, Ethiopia, central and northern Somalia, central and north-western Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and part of north-western Tanzania.
