Temperature
- Warmer than usual conditions expected over most parts of the region.
- Cooler than usual temperatures expected over few places in western Eritrea, northern and eastern Ethiopia, northern Somalia, central Kenya, north-eastern Uganda and southern Tanzania.
- Wetter than usual conditions expected over central to southern and eastern Sudan, western Eritrea, Djibouti, parts of northern Somalia, most parts of Ethiopia, eastern and southern South Sudan, Uganda, Lake Victoria Basin of Kenya, and few areas in Rwanda.
- Drier than usual conditions expected over north-western areas of South Sudan, south-eastern and part of north-western Ethiopia, and few places in northern Somalia.
