The Uganda Roadmap on Anticipatory Action (2026–2031) provides a national framework for shifting disaster management from reactive response to proactive, forecast-based action. Developed through a multi-stakeholder process led by Uganda's Office of the Prime Minister with support from ICPAC and partners, the roadmap outlines six strategic pillars to strengthen early warning systems, governance, financing, policy, coordination, and evidence generation to protect lives, livelihoods, and development gains from climate- and non-climate-related hazards.
