Temperature
- Warmer than usual conditions are expected over much of Kenya, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Djibouti, northern areas of Somalia, north-eastern and north-western South Sudan, much of Sudan, western Uganda, Rwanda, northern parts of Burundi, and coastal Tanzania.
- Usual temperature conditions are expected over parts of central Somalia and south-eastern Ethiopia, north-western Kenya, western South Sudan, areas in south-western Sudan, and a few areas in southern Tanzania.
- Cooler than usual temperatures are expected over southern parts of Somalia, much of Tanzania, southern areas of Burundi, eastern and northern Uganda, south-eastern South Sudan, and south-western Ethiopia.
- Wetter than usual conditions are expected over much of western Kenya, eastern Uganda, eastern South Sudan, areas in central and western Ethiopia, north-eastern Somalia, localized areas in Rwanda and Burundi, and Tanzania.
- Usual conditions are likely over eastern and coastal Kenya, much of Somalia, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Eritrea, western South Sudan, much of Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and parts of central and north-western Tanzania.
- Drier than usual conditions are likely over localized areas in north-eastern Kenya, southern Uganda, and northern South Sudan.
