Temperature Forecast 06 - 13 July
- Warm temperatures above 32℃ are expected in northern Sudan, northeastern Eritrea, the Afar region in Ethiopia, Djibouti, and the northern coastal region of Somalia.
- Moderate temperatures between 20 - 32 ℃ are expected in central and southern Sudan, South Sudan, south-eastern and north-western Ethiopia, Somalia, eastern and northern Kenya, northern Uganda, parts of central and coastal Tanzania.
- Relatively cold conditions with temperatures less than 20℃ are expected in central and western Ethiopia, central and Lake Victoria basin in Kenya, southern Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and much of Tanzania.

Headline: Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected over parts of Ethiopia, Sudan, Eritrea, and South Sudan.
Rainfall
- Heavy to very heavy rainfall (top 10 to 5% on record) expected in northern and eastern Ethiopia, western Eritrea, southern and south-western Sudan, and limited areas in north-eastern South Sudan. Stakeholders are advised to take appropriate measures.
- Moderate rainfall between 50 -200 mm expected over much of central, and western Ethiopia, much of South Sudan, southern areas of Sudan, and localized areas in central Kenya.
- Light rainfall of less than 30 mm is expected over eastern Ethiopia, Djibouti, northern and southern coastal Somalia, southern and northern Eritrea, south-eastern South Sudan, central Sudan, and central Kenya.
- Dry conditions are expected in northern Sudan, eastern and southern Ethiopia, much of Somalia, much of Kenya, Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Note: 1 mm of rainfall is equivalent to 1 liter of rainfall per square meter.
