Temperature
Warm temperatures above 32℃ are expected in eastern and northern South Sudan, southern and south-eastern Sudan and western Ethiopia.
- Moderate temperatures in the range of 20 - 32 ℃ are expected in most parts of Sudan, South Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Somalia, Djibouti, Eritrea, and southern, western and eastern Ethiopia.
- Relatively cold conditions with temperatures less than 20℃ are expected in central Ethiopia, south-western Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi and parts of western and central Tanzania.

Rainfall
Headline: Heavy to very heavy rainfall expected over central Kenya and northern Tanzania.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall (top 10 to 5% on record) is expected in central Kenya and northern Tanzania.
- Moderate rainfall between 50 - 100 mm expected in central and northern Tanzania, most parts of Burundi, and Rwanda, southern Kenya, in some areas of western Uganda; southern South Sudan, and western Ethiopia.
- Light rainfall of less than 30 mm is expected in southern Tanzania, eastern and northern Kenya, eastern Uganda, southern Somalia, southern and western Ethiopia; and most parts of South Sudan.
- Dry conditions are expected in Sudan, Eritrea, Djibouti, northern; central and eastern Ethiopia, northern and central Somalia.
