Temperature Forecast 13 - 20 July
- Warm temperatures above 32℃ are expected in northern Sudan, coastal Eritrea, Afar region in Ethiopia, coastal Djibouti, and the northern and coastal region of Somalia.
- Moderate temperatures between 20 - 32℃ are expected in central and southern Sudan, South Sudan, south-eastern and north-western Ethiopia, Somalia, eastern and northern Kenya, northern Uganda, and parts of central and coastal Tanzania.
- Relatively cold conditions with temperatures less than 20℃ are expected in central and western Ethiopia, central and Lake Victoria basin in Kenya, southern Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and much of Tanzania.

Headline: Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected over parts of Ethiopia, Sudan, South Sudan, Djibouti, and most of Eritrea. Stakeholders are advised to take appropriate measures.
- Heavy to very heavy rainfall (top 10 to 5% on record) from 100 mm to more than 200 mm expected in northern and eastern Ethiopia, most of Djibouti and Eritrea; south-western, southern, and eastern Sudan; and north-eastern South Sudan.
- Moderate rainfall between 50 - 200 mm expected over parts of Ethiopia, South Sudan, southern areas of Sudan, northern Uganda, and localized areas in central Kenya.
- Light rainfall of less than 30 mm is expected over southern parts of Ethiopia, southern Eritrea, western and central Uganda, northern Rwanda, central Sudan, and coastal areas in Kenya, Somalia, and Tanzania.
- Dry conditions are expected in northern Sudan, southern Ethiopia, much of Somalia, Kenya, Burundi, Uganda, and Tanzania.
