Temperature Forecast 15 - 22 Dec
- Warm temperatures above 28℃ are expected in parts of Turkana, Marsabit, Garissa and Wajir counties in Kenya; Afar region in Ethiopia, parts of southern Somalia, parts of southern Tanzania, and a few places in eastern South Sudan.
- Moderate conditions in the range 20-28℃ are expected in southern Sudan, much of South Sudan, central to northern Uganda, much of Tanzania, much of eastern and northern Kenya, much of Somalia, Djibouti, much of southern and northern Ethiopia, and coastal and western Eritrea.
- Relatively cold conditions with temperatures less than 20℃ are expected in parts of northern and western Sudan, central Ethiopia, northern Somalia, central to western Kenya, southern Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and parts of Tanzania.

Rainfall Forecast 15 - 22 Dec
Headline: Relatively heavy rainfall is expected over the coastal parts of northern Somalia, Djibouti, and Sudan while the season remains active in Tanzania and Burundi.
- Heavy rainfall between 50 - 100 mm is expected in northern Somalia and Djibouti from 18th December due to a low pressure system currently over the Arabian Sea.
- The rainfall is expected to continue from the previous week in Tanzania and Burundi.
- Dry conditions are expected to continue in most of the northern regions; except for parts of central Kenya, eastern Uganda, Rwanda, and central Ethiopia which are expected to receive less than 30 mm as from the 19th of December.
